I was born in Danbury, Connecticut, but spent most of my life in Spotsylvania, Virginia. I currently reside in Richmond, Virginia.

I was very athletic in high school and played several different sports. These experiences taught me the true value of collaboration, determination, focus, leadership, and the value of believing in one self.

Following high school, I attended James Madison University, where I received both my undergraduate and master’s degree.

I am now married and have a three year old daughter named Ava.

This is my 11th year working for Goochland County Public Schools.  I taught three years in 5th grade, three years in 4th grade, and one year in 3rd grade.  I am now in my fourth year as an Elementary Technology Coach for Goochland and Randolph Elementary School.
